Amazonik Souvenirs (Barcelona). The client wanted a design in colorful trencadis, with the Sagrada Familia and Gaudí symbols present throughout his work, such as stars, fish, mollusks, flowers, dolphins, palms, crosses, etc. You had to do a good job of prior documentation, because it is a complex and rich world, where even the color or light are symbols in themselves. Thus, I selected those circular motifs – or that could be framed in circles -, so that they “floated” around the central figure of the Holy Family; and this in turn within another great circle, so that the entire composition is attractive, colorful, beautiful. Finally, for the title I also did different tests with the sources, finally choosing a classic one, such as the Universitas Salmantini, which contrasts with the color of the trencadís mosaic
